Our signature Deadly Futures Training and Employment Expo is returning in 2025.

Collaborating with community, as well as Brisbane City Council and the Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships (DATSIP), our last expo, held at Brisbane Town Hall resulted in:

  • Over 100 jobs and traineeships for First Nations high school students. All attending organisations made a commitment to provide at least one genuine work opportunity.

  • Over 1,100 students across 65 high schools engaged in interactive workshops, elders yarning circles, and talks.

  • 55 exhibitors across industry, government and academia showcasing employment pathways and advice for First Nations students.

Over 100 jobs and traineeships for First Nations high school students were provided in our last expo; and over 1,100 students attended across 65+ high schools in Australia
